I admit I haven’t yet seen most of the films on this list, though I’ve read a good bit about them. Having said that, is there anything here remotely approaching the cinematic genius and weight of No Country for Old Men or There Will be Blood or even Juno (to mention 3 of last years Best Picture nominees)?
