My review of Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven is developing, but I’ll say this: I liked it better than Gladiator.
Here’s Steven D. Greydanus’s review: He gives it a C.
Here’s Peter T. Chattaway’s review: He gives it 3 out of 4 stars.
And here are some thoughts on healing the wounds of the Crusades from Warren Larson, director of the Zwemer Center for Muslim Studies at Columbia International University, Columbia, South Carolina.
Will you post your lecture notes? I’d sure love to read them.

Sorry, but my lecture notes are in the form of a Powerpoint presentation made up of images. That’s my prompt for ad-libbing my way through a talk about film. I find that the more I follow a printed outline, the more mechanical and awkward my presentation. If I use images to give myself a flow of ideas, what I end up saying to the listeners is more spontaneous, genuine, and customized for that particular occasion.
Perhaps I’ll try to summarize the talk here on the blog sometime, but that would take a great deal of time, a resource that is being taxed by other things right now.
Thank You and your welcome.
oh ….I know them!
