You could wait until next fall to see Ron Howard‘s new film, Cinderella Man, starring Russell Crowe. You could go to the theatre and pay nine bucks for the privilege.
Or, you could see pretty much the whole thing here, for free, and it’ll only take about a minute.
Thanks, Ron! Now I don’t have to sit through the extended version!
And what a performance by Paul Giamatti. Wow. Looks like that snub at the Oscars took a toll on his hairline.
Good list, Jeffrey, but I’m embarrassed to say I’ve seen only one of the 10 films mentioned — and it’s one I know WON’T be on my year-end “best of” list.
Can you guess which one it is? 🙂
I’d probably add Crash and Cinderella Man, with Enron and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants as close runners-up.
No Kung Fu Hustle? Well, at least The Interpreter isn’t on this list, although I’m sure Herbie and / or Perfect Man may make it on to your year-end (can imagine you gushing about those films).
I second Kung Fu Hustle and, to a lesser extent, Mad Hot Ballroom. Crash is a toss-up. I’ll be seeing Best of Youth the next two weekends, and I’m thinking this might trump them all (knowing that this film has the worst distributor in history.
