I am blessed in so many ways that Anne Maureen Doe said “Yes” when I proposed about 15 years ago.
And I am overjoyed whenever the world confirms what I’ve known all along: That she is an excellent poet.
So I can’t help myself:
I must share the good news. Anne’s poem “Preparing for Market”, published in the new issue of Asheville Poetry Review, is one of five poems the journal nominated this year for a Pushcart Prize. This is Anne’s second Pushcart nomination.
News like this makes her #1 fan a very happy guy.
