Hi Jeffrey,
I’ve been reading your blog for several months now. This is my first comment.
Just a week ago, I blogged my own quick gut reaction to A Christmas Tale: http://chasingpictures.blogspot.com/2008/12/we-dont-care-were-waiting-for-jesus.html
I’m interested to know what you think of the whole Sylvia-New World connection. (I think that an attempt at a connection is made explicit when a poster advertising “Le nouveau monde” is shown on the wall of the theatre where Sylvia and her husband stop to talk).
Thanks for your work. Be well.
-John
p.s. I’m looking forward to reading what you think of Gran Torino. I just saw it and thought it was great.
