Anne and I enjoyed a tasty (and beautiful) lunch at Lola yesterday, and the company wasn’t bad either:
Sam Phillips, Eric Gorfain (of the Section Quartet), and Sam’s sound man Paul. We talked about touring, spirituality, Tibet, the election, Thomas Merton, and more.
And then came the show… which rocked. Anne and I are still glowing from the joy of a rich, inspiring day, and a transcendent live performance. I can’t wait for the next record… which from the sound of things may not be very far away.
