Northwestern College of Iowa has extended me a gracious invitation to come and spend a day talking about faith and film with the students. I can’t wait. I’ll be there Monday, November 10. Anybody here at Northwestern? Nnnnnorthwestern!
D’oh. I forgot that WordPress tried to interpret things within the pointy brackets as HTML markup, so that didn’t work.
Nice. My wife was an RD at Northwestern before we met. She took me to see the campus a while back. She has very fond memories of that place.
I knew a guy that went there, too . . . but he’s not there anymore. I’ll have to hold out for a Baylor visit.
(Yay for the Swirling Eddies reference!)
I’m not from Northwestern (at least that Northwestern), but I grew up in the area. It’s a good place, and I hope you enjoy the Dutch atmosphere, the abundant tulips, and the feel of Orange City. Come back for the Tulip Festival in May!
Even in Orange City, you’ll be hard-pressed to find tulips in November, except for the artificial variety.
There’s a giant grad student community from NW at Geneva. Maybe you should come to Geneva sometime? (I sent you an e-mail about that a month or so ago, in fact.)
