Good news:
I had an extraordinary time at Calvin’s Festival of Faith and Writing. So many new friends, so many books signed, so many inspiring encounters and lectures and conversations! My friend Stephen Lamb has been blogging about his experiences there.
Bad news:
My laptop blew up. Yes. With smoke and everything.
So, I’ll be back with more details and regular blogging soon, but it’ll be slow for a while here….
Your presentation at Calvin was great! And it was fun to hear the miracle of Auralia’s Colors’s publication in person. Good luck with the laptop. I keep expecting mine to explode any moment now.

oh no! Hopefully it was sitting somewhere besides your lap when it decided to go.
Rebelling against too much work at Calvin, perhaps? 😉
Great presentations, btw. Several of my classmates from Malone were at Friday’s session and I think most everyone from Malone, profs included, were at Saturday’s session. All had great things to say. 🙂
Four of us (that I know about) bought books (two after I said yes, get the book!) and all of us got them signed.
Good luck with the laptop!
I feel your pain. somewhat at least. My hard drive died today. =/
Just curious… What kind of laptop was it? Sorry to hear about it just the same.
