If you check fast, Auralia’s Colors is a news item on the front page of SciFi.com!
(It’s also currently on the front page of the “Print” section, the first time my work has been reviewed on the same page as work by Stephen King and J.K. Rowling. Nifty!)
Many thanks to John Joseph Adams, who wrote this article about the book.
Congrats! That is great coverage of Auralia! I just finished the book a few days ago (having a new baby in the house freed up the time so that it could happen), and it is quite remarkable. I have been out of the fantasy genre for quite some time, and I have been spoiled by the “easy” reads of the Harry Potter series, so it took me a while to become engrossed. However, there is enough mystery in your tome to keep me wondering for a while. Thanks. (I offered Auralia as a name for the new baby, but I was shot down by my good wife, who went through all of the pain of labor, so we went with Zuzu instead.)
Yeah, I saw you mentioned over at SF Signal so I had to check the article out. I even make a special blog post about it.
Congrats!
