Many, many thanks to Paul Edwards for being a gracious host, generous with his time, and thoughtful with his questions on the God and Culture radio program in Detroit.
You can listen in on our conversations…
- here, on Tuesday’s show, where I come on around the 1-hour 45-minute mark, and then talk like a madman until I run Paul right into his show-closing music (Yikes! I’m sorry!)
- and here … where I’m the first batter to the plate, and we wrapped up with plenty of time for Paul to announce his support for a Presidential candidate.
We talked about The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, about what it means to have a “Christian perspective on movies,” and then, well… we talk a lot about Auralia’s Colors.
But I am especially grateful that Paul and I had a chance to put behind us a rather unpleasant debate we had last year. In case you remember that, know this: I am humbled and moved by Paul’s willingness to welcome me to his program, and to form a friendship, in spite of the fact that our introduction to each other was a rather turbulent conversation.
So, thank you, Paul. I appreciated your insights and your thoughtful questions this week. I’m grateful for your patience with me. And I look forward to our next conversation.
