And there’s still time for you to submit questions for me to ask Mike Rich, the screenwriter of the film, this afternoon. (About fifteen more minutes, actually.)
My review? It won’t be coming for a while. Due to the snow and ice, I’ve missed out on several screenings, including Apocalypto, which screened tonight. I’ve been stuck home watching DVDs.
I’m going to hold off on reading your review until I see it tomorrow, but my expectations are high. I’m hoping Fincher returns to the form he showed in SE7EN and FIGHT CLUB and somewhat lost (in my opinion) with PANIC ROOM. He’s a true craftsman of the cinema.
Great movie
Is it the first great wide-release film of 2007?
Yes.
Since seeing it Saturday it’s grown in my estimation. Reminded me a lot of Coppola’s THE CONVERSATION, and not just because of the David Shire connection.
