Courtesy of Over the Rhine’s Web site, you can now listen to two tracks from their new live album: Live from Nowhere.
Apparently, there’s still time to order your signed copy of this special Limited Edition CD.
And if you’ve already ordered, but you’re wondering why it hasn’t arrived, note the NEW SHIP DATE: All pre-ordered copies will ship in late March, after they get back from Middle-Earth. You see, they stumbled into Fangorn Forest, and Treebeard took them hostage in order to ask them to start singing slower songs. “Not so hasty,” and all of that…
Oh, by the way… they’re touring again.
Jeffrey,
Thanks for the news, I just ordered my signed copy. My first OTR album was Drunkards Prayer. I can’t wait to buy and listen to more of their work.
I can’t wait!
By the way, I love it that you plug OTR every chance you get!
“He highlighted five solutions including the stabilizing of world population (through funding, healthcare, and birth control devices and techniques)“
Everything else was interesting but does that sound a little troubling to anyone else?
Good grief. 35 years ago everybody was predicting doom due to global cooling and a population explosion. Today they’re predicting doom due to global warming and a population implosion (i.e., sharply declining fertility rates — which bodes very ill for our society, possibly even more ill, or more immediately ill, than climate change). Sounds like Gore has one foot in yesterday and one foot in today.
