I have had the immeasurable blessing of being married to Anne Maureen Doe for EIGHT YEARS.
EIGHT YEARS.
And to celebrate the most extraordinary woman I have ever met, I’m getting her out of bed tomorrow morning and we’re headed out into the blustery Seattle, Washington rain. And when we get to our destination, her favorite restaurant in the world, we’ll have a fantastic dinner…
… in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
If anybody out there is from Santa Fe, or lives there now, or knows it well, feel free to leave any suggestions on other things we might do there. It’s going to be a fantastic time whatever we choose to do, but I’m always open to suggestions. I’ll check back here if we happen upon an Internet cafe at some point in our short stay.
Pray for the folks house-sitting for us. They’ll have to deal with our cats, poor souls.
So, have a good week, folks. I’ll be back soon.
(Peter Chattaway is pinch-hitting for me at CT’s Film Forum this week. I’m a bit attached to that column, and I’d only surrender it to the best. Have fun, Peter.)
