In the new issue of Response, you’ll find an article about, and an interview with, the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, Dana Gioia. (There are two separate links on that page, so check out both of them.)
Plus, this issue includes my commentary on films about cloning…
…and a glance at the new book by Gregory Wolfe, editor of Image, called Intruding Upon the Timeless.
Do you get paid for writing in Response, or is it part of your day job? I love the design of that magazine. They make SPU look so snazzy!
I am a paid writer for Response, but not as a freelancer: it’s actually one of the responsibilities of my day job. I was hired as a communications specialist at SPU, and part of the job description was “staff writer for Response.” Still if you’re interested in contributing, and you’re a student, alum, staff, or faculty at SPU, you should contact editor Jennifer Gilnett if you have something to contribute.
I figured it was part of your job. Which I have to say sounds like a pretty excellent one. I do have an idea to do something on a rock band that played at SPU back in the 70’s … I think I may pursue it.
