My thoughts on Laurent Cantet’s The Class, my favorite film of ’09 so far, are up in the latest installment of Through a Screen Darkly, my monthly column at Christianity Today Movies.
The film qualified for the Oscars in 2008, but did not receive a regular theatrical release in the U.S. until late February ’09, so I’m counting it as a 2009 release.
