Worship is Better With Barbecue!

Mark Shea shares a video that’s almost too convincing to be funny.

I noticed a church Web site this week advertising an event called “Baptism Bonanza” at the beach. It promised free barbecue for anybody who wanted to come.

That’s the tone of many contemporary churches: “Forget all you’ve heard about worship. We promise… we’ll make it fun for you. Somehow… we’ll make it fun.”
