Bono’s got good taste in books.
First he becomes a big fan of Eugene Peterson’s The Message … a translation of the Bible that I’m very fond of.
Then he starts handing out Philip Yancey’s What’s So Amazing About Grace?, another one of my “desert island books,” and one of the most challenging books about faith I’ve ever read.
Now, U2 fans are starting to pay attention. Today, Interference.com features an interview with Phillip Yancey. Awesome.
Bono’s been a fan for some time. A few years ago, following some conversations with Noel Gallagher, he had a friend send Noel copies of a few books, including “What’s So Amazing About Grace?” Good to see Yancey getting a bit more recognition from the connection.
