My favorite films of the last 20 years…

This week, I published a project that I’ve been tinkering with for many months.

I recreated my favorite film lists running back to 1990, revising and reordering the titles to represent what they mean to me today.

I also wrote up a description of the process, with a commentary on why everybody’s favorites will be… and should be… different.

Check it out here. It’s probably the longest post in the history of this blog: lists upon lists upon lists, useful for prioritizing the selections in your Netflix queue.
