Update on Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life: Somebody must have seen it.

This may seem like no big deal to you…

… but it’s exciting news for me and, I’m sure, others who are eager to see Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life.

The fact that the MPAA has actually rated the film suggests that they’ve actually seen it. Which means it must be very close to being ready for distribution.

Right? Right?

Can’t wait to actually see one of his films in the theater! His works are so profound and beautiful that they require multiple viewings.

  2. Adolfo Rodriguez Says:

According to this: http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=40327 it will be released in November. I hope that’s true as I am a huge fan of Malick’s.

  3. Gene Branaman Says:

The New World was one of the most moving cinematic experienced I’ve had in the last 10 years. If Tree of Life is half as brilliant, it’ll blow almost everything else outta the water!

  4. Andrew Price Says:

I’m with you, Jeff! Becoming more and more of a really-real, watch-able film all the time.

And if you’re right, Adolfo, maybe I can go see it for my birthday!
