Rango: “I’m a blender.”


Hmmm. It’s certainly trying to be funny. But is it funny?

Personally, I think the poster was better than the trailer. The poster made me want to see it. The trailer just isn’t doing anything for me. Now, don’t get me wrong – I’ve learned not to trust trailers. But movie marketing is supposed to make me want to spend ten bucks. This doesn’t.

I’m waiting for the animated film to come along that doesn’t make Pixar look even better by comparison. I’m not sure what that film will be.

    I hope this will be weird enough to outdo the usual formulaic animated films.

    The Illusionist will probably be the only thing within reach of Toy Story 3 this year.
