Every Christmas, it’s a different verse that burns with new vitality for me.

This year, it’s this one:

O come, Desire of nations, bind
In one the hearts of all mankind;
Bid Thou our sad divisions cease,
And be Thyself our King of Peace.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

May God grant us all a greater appreciation for the grace we celebrate tonight.
