He also has voiced Ernie on Sesame Street since Henson's death. I also had the same thought when I heard Kermit. In fact, I thought this was the strongest vocal outing in a long time. I think every one has been replaced (except Dave Golez's Muppets, such as Gonzo) from when The Muppet Show was on, and it seems like everyone had a great handle on their characters.
