That’s fantastic news. But making the spring even sweeter, here’s more:

In May, Patty Griffin’s Downtown Church is rumored to be (gasp) a gospel album. It arrives May 19; keep watch for new stuff here.

Michelle Shocked’s Soul of My Soul arrives in the same month. (More here.)

And Cracker’s Sunrise in the Land of Milk and Honey is coming in May as well.

And there are rumblings of new stuff by Peter Gabriel and Wilco on the horizon.

UPDATE: News on the Wilco album here. It apparently includes a track called “Wilco, The Song”.
