ReadWriteWeb.com points me to Music Blog Zeitgeist:

MP3 blog aggregator Hype Machine launched a new microsite today called the Music Blog Zeitgeist. There you can listen, for free, to entire albums from the most blogged-about musicians of 2008. Bringing together a whole host of different technologies to create one experience, the site is beautiful and a lot of fun to navigate.

  1. Stephen Lamb Says:

Two things about Wendell Berry: That really is a great poem in the Writer’s Almanac (although the link is wrong – it sends you to tomorrow’s Writer’s Almanac. There should be a 7 at the end of the link, not an 8.)

Second, Rob Mathes, one of my favorite arranger/composers, has written a new orchestral piece based on poems by Wendell Berry. The title is “A Standing Ground: Concertino for Orchestra,” and the Nashville Symphony will play the world premier next month. I’m really looking forward to hearing it.
